SPACE began during the pandemic, a time that changed the way we lived, worked and viewed everyday comfort. We were spending longer hours sitting at home, turning dining tables, bedrooms and living spaces into workstations. As the “new norm” accelerated modern living, one thing became clear which is how we sit matters.

We began searching for the ideal chair including office chairs, gaming chairs and countless alternatives. Yet what followed were familiar backaches, shoulder strain, knee discomfort and constant fatigue. Some of our friends even required chiropractic treatment.

After experiencing discomfort and consulting healthcare professionals, we came to a realisation that the body needs proper support to perform. But as we explored the market, quality seating came with overwhelming price which caused an essential product for daily health had become inaccessible.

That became the driving force for SPACE.
